I want to be part of the solution.
Addressing the complicated role of alcohol in our communities begins with understanding the challenge and sharing what works for you.
Share
Share your ideas on our Instagram for how to reduce alcohol’s presence in our lives. What tips and strategies have worked for you at home, at social gatherings, and in other places where you spend time? Or share a story with us about how alcohol is impacting your community.
See
Notice how often you’re encouraged to drink alcohol in the places you commonly go. How big is the wine and beer section of your local grocery, compared to sections for other products? At social gatherings, is it often assumed that everyone will drink alcohol?
Support
Be there for friends and family members who are trying to drink less. Use these suggestions for how to help. How can you get together to relax or celebrate, without alcohol? What support or resources in your community would make that easier?
